PSAT - You will take this exam in the Spring of your sophomore and junior years. The PSAT is a first-hand look at the SAT and gives you a chance to analyze and improve your performance on the SAT. SAT and ACT- You will take these exams in the Spring of your Junior year and again in the Fall of your Senior year. Many colleges will take either the SAT ir the ACT. Be sure to check with the college to which you intend to apply. However, it is recommended that you take both the SAT and the ACT.

AP Test - When you enroll for an AP course, you will take the corresponding AP test in the Spring. You could earn college credit if you pass an AP test with a score of 3 or better, but be sure to check the college policy regarding credit awarded for passing AP exams.
UC Placement Test - If required, you will take this exam in the Spring of your Senior year IF you have been accepted to a UC school AND you plan to attend. Please visit the campus to which you will attend to inquire about this requirement.
CSU Placement Test - If required, you will take this exam in the Spring of your Senior year IF you have been accepted to a UC school AND you plan to attend.
