The mission of the Yoga Club at Bell Gardens High School is to enhance the lives of students by providing them with authentic and engaging learning opportunities in and outside of campus regarding the practice of yoga. Through the study and practice of yoga, students will gain an understanding of their bodies, their minds, and the way they deal with the daily challenges of growing up.
The purpose of the Yoga Club meetings is to set an intention for the week and to reflect on what goes on during yoga class and how it connects to our lives. As with every organization, there are important rules/procedures that have to be followed to become and stay a member. Come to room 202 on Mondays during nutrition to find out more!

All-Stars Yoga Class
Come practice with us Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 4:30pm in the CAFETERIA. Every BGHS student is welcome to attend, no prior experience required, just a willingness to learn what yoga is about!
What to bring / and not to bring:
1. Comfortable work-out (stretchy) clothes (No jeans or street clothes)
2. Yoga mat (I have some available but they are used)
3. Small towel
4. No shoes or socks
5. An open mind
